Day 3: Kanchanaburi

Leaving Bangkok by train in the early morning is already a change of pace. The landscape unfolds slowly, between rice paddies and villages, until you reach Phitsanulok, a discreet town with Thai charm. The afternoon is spent wandering its narrow streets, between ancient temples and scenes of daily life. As evening falls, head to a lively night market, filled with the aromas of food and warm smiles.

Day 4: Kanchanaburi

In the morning, head to Ban Pha Rang Mi, a village where you’ll discover the traditional art of reed mattress weaving, amidst a peaceful and generous daily life. After this encounter, a short hike in the mountains of Phu Hin Rong Kla National Park will immerse you in forests, past stones sculpted by time, and breathtaking views. At the end of the day, Wat Phra Sorn Kaew awaits you in the golden light of dusk, before a serene night at a nearby organic farm.

Erawan National park & Ayutthaya

Nestled in the heart of a lush jungle, Erawan captivates visitors with its cascading waterfalls and emerald pools. A shaded path leads to secluded spots where you can enjoy a refreshing swim amidst unspoiled nature.

Day 5: Erawan National Park and transfer to Ayutthaya

Depart from your lodge early in the morning to reach Erawan National Park, a jungle haven where seven majestic waterfalls cascade down to the Khwae Yai River. Enjoy a trail leading to turquoise pools, perfect for a refreshing swim, before savoring a lunch of local specialties at the foot of the park. Drive to Ayutthaya in the afternoon.

Ayutthaya & night train to Surat Thani

The former royal capital, Ayutthaya, reveals its majestic temples and stupas eroded by time. Between ruins steeped in history and a peaceful atmosphere by the water, the visit immerses you in the past splendors of a kingdom now listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Day 6: Ayutthaya

Explore Ayutthaya by bicycle, winding through its rivers, past iconic temples, and through its bustling markets. Between Wat Phra Sri Sanphet and Wat Mahathat, and with opportunities to sample local delicacies, this ride reveals the history and daily life of Ayutthaya. In the afternoon, continue your exploration with Wat Phanangchoeng and the reclining Buddha at Wat Lokaya Sutharam before your transfer to the train station for the overnight train to Surat Thani.

Khao Sok National Park

In the heart of Khao Sok, nature expresses itself in its purest form: lush vegetation, spectacular cliffs, and the calm waters of Cheow Lan Lake create a breathtaking setting. A place to lose yourself… and reconnect.

Day 7: Khao Sok National Park

Welcome to Surat Thani, gateway to southern Thailand. Head to Khao Sok for a nature immersion: a bamboo raft ride, coffee brewed in the jungle, and a hike through the heart of a dense forest.
